The September 11 Memorial, one of New York's most prominent sites, attracts both locals and visitors from around the world. Constructed in 2011, it commemorates the names of the victims of the World Trade Center attacks in 2001. The wall is located in the southern part of Manhattan, not far from the Financial district.
